Personality: Kio can be seen as sarcastic and quick-witted, usually a bit cold as well. He’s a tad bit energetic, but he gets the energy out in a multitude of ways. He’s extremely mature, but he can shut that off in an instant if he grows bored of it. He knows how to let loose, but unless he trusts someone, that side of him isn’t likely at all to be seen.
Other attributes/skills: Kio can sing and play the guitar, and usually keeps those two in the style of Michael Buble, or the Rat Pack.
History: Kio was born and raised in Naples, Italy, where he joined the military at age 18, as soon as he could, and served a military tour in the Middle East. He came back physically unscathed for the most part, but the naive young Italian suffered quite a jolt of PTSD upon returning at the age of 20. He attempted to put himself through counseling for the issues he faced, but not much seemed to help.
He found himself desperate to be anywhere but home, at that point, which sent him on a trip through Europe, mostly hitch-hiking, generally bumming around, until he found his way to England, and made himself rather comfortable in London by his 21st birthday. He used his pension and savings to rent himself a flat in Pimlico. Not long after arriving, he found himself mixed into some very… Unfortunate situations for such a young man, which tossed him into a criminal scene, introducing him to the criminal underground of the great city.
Managing somehow to keep his two lives separated, he began working at a few clubs here and there, mostly for the extra income and to keep himself from becoming too horribly bored, and he sang under the alias of Kristoph Jameson. When he’s not busy performing and loafing around London, still taking in the touristy bits by day, he finds himself mixed into a world of criminality and deviousness by night, taking any little job he can, from theft to murder, illegal transport to arson, just for the thrills.
RP Example: Kio stepped back from the microphone and brushed his hair back. A small sheen of sweat was on his forehead, both from the exertion of the powerful vocals and the burning of the fluorescent lights over the stage. His eyes narrowed against the blinding gleam as he looked over the people before him, all at tables or the bar, drinks in hand, and all eyes on him, and the cheers alike, for him. He felt his lips curl into a smile as he bowed, giving a final word into the mic, a deep and smoky
“Grazie mille”, before he got off the stage, returning to the dressing area for the performers.
His hand went instantly to his pocket once he had locked the door behind him, and he obtained the mobile that had been buzzing since about midway through his set. He answered and lifted the device to his ear, then felt a grim smile come to his face and a malicious gleam enter his eyes as the words rung through his mind. He had a new contract, and it needed to be completed as soon as possible… Tonight was going to be absolutely brilliant.
